Amy Galey serves in the North Carolina Senate representing District 25, which includes Alamance County and part of Randolph County. A lifelong resident of Union Ridge, she previously served as Chair of the Alamance County Board of Commissioners and was first elected to the Senate in 2020.

An attorney licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and the District of Columbia, Amy holds degrees from UNC–Chapel Hill and the UNC School of Law. She has helped lead major legislative efforts related to public health and infrastructure while securing funding for local priorities across her district.

Amy lives on her family’s farm in Alamance County with her husband, Fred, and their three children.
