Paul J. Norcross
Chairman
Paul J. Norcross is an accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist, and patriot with a profound admiration for the United States and the vision of its founders. He serves on the Board of the North Carolina Sons of the Revolution, chairs the Hayes Hooper Penn Chapter, and is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution Guilford Battleground Chapter. Additionally, he holds the distinguished titles of Ambassador Extraordinary of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine and Knight in the Equestrian Order of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Deeply committed to education and community development, Paul was the Founding Chair of Phoenix Academy in High Point, North Carolina, and serves as Vice Chair of the South Carolina Charter Education Board. In these roles, he has been instrumental in establishing tuition-free charter schools and shaping public policy to advance educational opportunities. He later founded the 7 Degrees of Change Foundation and the Phoenix Academy Foundation, both dedicated to transformative educational and philanthropic initiatives.
A 1986 graduate of the University of San Francisco with a degree in Business Finance, Paul began his career at his family’s international furniture business. In 1991, he launched his first supply management company, providing critical services to the lodging and gaming sectors across the United States and Southeast Asia for over two decades. He is also a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, specializing in property development.
Paul is a passionate advocate for organ donation, having donated a kidney and actively supporting the National Kidney Registry. Over the past four decades, he has served on numerous public and private boards, contributing his expertise to diverse initiatives. His multifaceted contributions reflect a lifelong dedication to service, leadership, and positive change.
